As a Mom and a pediatric nurse, I prefer Ibuprofen as well but if your child has

any sort of kidney problems including a urinary tract infection , it is better

to use Tylenol. Ibuprofen can be hard on the kidneys especially if there are

problems to begin with. If in doubt check with your childs doctor first.
