Currently we are working with Baltimore Child and Baltimore guide for an article spot lighting the great need in Baltimore county for such a program. The studio that we will be using is located in Dundalk, Md. and has closed the studio on Sunday just for our program. If you think that this might be something that you wish to pass on I would be more then happy to provide you with registration forms and flyers with all the details. I would like to point out that this program is for all ability's, boy or girl, limited mobility, developmental delays, Autism, Down's Syndrome, Blind, Deaf, Speech delay, Dyspraxia (coordination delays), Sensory Processing or integration disorder (SPD/SID). Any one that want to move and dance are welcomed to join the class. Once a month we will have a guest that will offer a new from of movement, such as moving to drums. Scholarship and multiple child discount are available. Also Free test class before enrolling is a great option to make sure your kiddos are going to LOVE Dance. If your child is a bit " out-of-sync " and you're looking for a fun interactive similar group with peers, this is a wonderful opportunity for you and your child! This is not a music therapy class but rather an exploration of the world of ARTS! Our Teacher's are fun, flexible, loving and patient. You and your child will find them a joy to work with. We incorporate ASD-specific strategies such as Social Stories and Visual Schedules. Our classes build self esteem, confidence, teach life long skills in communication, social skills, problem solving and more. Please feel free to contact myself if you have any questions or would like for us to pass on our flyers and registration forms. If you have any concerns or would like the children/adults to give it a try first please come in for a free class. I am always open to suggestions or a new way of looking at teaching. Just alittle bit about myself I have been a professional contemporary ballet dancer with over 10 year experience. I have be trained in all forms of movement and dance, along with teaching a wide rage of students. I have 2 children with special needs my oldest has over 16 different disability's, they have made me into the person I am today and feel very lucky to have such great kids who show me there Abilitys each and everyday!
