NUTRIIVEDA PROGRESS

I just wanted to post the progress my son has had with Nutriiveda. I believe he

has been on a full dose (1 scoop for 3yo) for 1 1/2 months. We have noticed more

imaginative play...before he would look at me like I was crazy if I wanted him

to pretend a banana was a phone but the other day he brought me a large lego

block and was saying o o (hello in his words). He also had a pretend

" conversation " on my cell phone. Most of his words were not clear but I did hear

Hello,.....daddy. That is something I never say on the phone. He has started

spont 2 word pharases. Lots of my's.. my book, my chair, my choo choo etc. also

finally got " I want... " ( ah nunt) cookie etc and started this spont. Before we

had to prompt him every time. Yester day he was listening to Dora while playing

and Dora said back pack. This is one word he never lost but it has always been

ba pa. Yesterday I heard ba pa....k. My 5yo was so excited she said " Mommy Chase

said back pack really good. " He now reapeats everything, even though it's still

not always clear. Someone said they wished their 2yo grandson talked as much as

my son. (My sons " talking " is alot of jargon) My son must have been listening

because she said for car her grandson says da da... I heard my son say ca then

she said for train he says something else and I heard my son say " ta " . He is so

aware of everything going on. He will say every word that he hears and

recognizes. But wow are we seeing a surge in the sensory this past week. He's

always been cuddley but he came out of therapy wrapped his arms around me and

kissed me on the lips! Needs lots of deep pressure these days. He runs around

the house constantly now. It may also be starting GFCFSF. Hope this stuff passes

soon. The improvements are too great to worry about the sensory though.

Update on Dawn's son

Hi, well we went to the neurologist last week and we are now

1 week in to weaning him off his seizure med. Tegretol which

he has been on for 9 yrs. It will take 10 weeks to get him

off totally and there is a 6 month high risk period, and

then after that the dr. says since he has a brain

abnormality (agenesis of corpus collosum) there is still a

chance that he can have a seizure. If he does then he will

have to go back on the meds. We won't know until we try!

Also the other day he was in the pool and he said to me " I

in the pool " and then he said " I want you to sit down " the

first 4 words said very fast but WHAT!! Also in school his

teacher said she always asks him to dance when they have

music but he gets shy and bites his shirt, the other day she

said she asked and he said " Yea! " and he was shaking his

butt and wanted everyone in the class to see him!! She said

she has never seen him so loose and the other day he was

signing that he WANTED to go get his haircut ( this is a

always a horror show) My husband took him and he said he was

better, not perfect but better. I am a strong believer that

the NV is doing something to his brain, I will keep going

with this, I forgot to mention that I had increased him from

3 scoops a day to 4 scoops a day last week( he is 14) Dawn
