They are pretty hard right out of the freezer, though my freezer is at a

somewhat high temp and it's warm out at the moment, so it only takes a couple

minutes for it to get to a point where she'll eat it. And yes, they are pretty

sticky, especially when they defrost too much. We haven't minded that too much,

though.

afterwards as it left chocolate on his teeth. How long should it defrost until

you eat it? I eliminated the raisins and chocolate chips as he doesn't eat them

either. I called it his brownie cookie and shaped it into a square. Tried to

eat it right out of the freezer but it was too hard. Maybe it defrosted too

much and that's why it got stuck in his teeth?

Are you baking these? I don't think NV can be heated, might want to check.

Well you get the idea- they are all over the web- I didn't even check the

probably any " no bake " dessert that called for cocoa powder would be fine!

I will encourage Noelle to post as well---but I think that she used Nestle's

choc syrup and 1 scoop of vanilla NV (instead of chocolate); also she

deleted the raisins and choc chips and used M & Ms on top. Yummy!

I made some NV jello, but it didn't go over very well. I used 1/4 a cup of

juice with 1/2 a package of unflavored gelatin and heated that up to boiling.

In the meantime, I mixed 1 scoop NV with 1/4 cup juice and let it sit. After

the juice/gelatin mixture boiled I took it off the stove and let it sit on the

counter until it was 80-90 degrees on my candy thermometer and then mixed in the

NV/juice mixture and chilled it in the fridge until it jelled.

He didn't like it...but it didn't have the dayglo color jello has

I searched for protein powder and treats and found this. Not as healthy I guess

LOL! Kate

* 7 tablespoons butter

* 40 large marshmallows

* 8 scoops protein powder

* 6 cups rice crispy cereal

Preparation

1. Melt butter in a large pot and add marshmallows. Stir constantly until

marshmallows are completely melted.

2. Remove pot from heat and gradually add protein powder. Mix until smooth.

Add rice crispy cereal and mix until coated.

3. Pour onto a greased 13 " x 9 " x 2 " baking pan or cookie sheet and press

down.

4. Cool and cut into 12 bars, 3 " x 4 " each.

We started the NV a few days ago and we had to start out in small amounts and we

will keep you all posted on Teddy's progress. We are hopeful. Seeing small

things already but also trying to keep a level head about all this .. Thanks to

Farrah and especially for all your help and knowledge .
