My 2 year old has a dairy allergy. We currently have her on a dairy free diet.

No casein and no whey. I'm not sure which one she's allergic to. Has anyone used

NV successfully with an allergic child?

mom to 2 year old Madelyn, with apraxia, hypotonia and global delays.

Hi !

It's not common for one to be allergic to the whey which is the gold standard

for protein by nutritional/medical experts -especially a casein free all natural

isolate as what's in NV. Most that are allergic to dairy are allergic to the

casein and NV is 100 percent casein free. I would check with your child's

doctor (can share this http://pursuitofresearch.org/NutriiVeda_Information.pdf )

You can read in the archives from those who are using it that have children that

are allergic to dairy -and then there is my mom who has celiac- and all reports

are awesome. Most that are allergic to whey know- but again pretty uncommon.

Nutriiveda is 100 percent gluten, casein, fat, sodium, caffeine free and 100

percent natural. It would be considered by our FDA a product that is 100

percent food as again the nutrients are all from whole food sources. Each

serving contains all of the essential amino acids and nutrients one needs daily.

Here is the ingredient list which can be found here

http://pursuitofresearch.org/ingredients.html Each of the whole foods in NV is

tested to be free of any heavy metals, herbicides or pesticides- so a very clean

food.

Here are the whole food ingredients which contain all the essential amino acids

and nutrients:

Chocolate (the vanilla is the same except instead of cayenne pepper it contains

cinnamon)

Whey Protein Isolates (Amino Acids: Alanine, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Cystin,

Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine,

Phenylalanine, Proline, Serine, Thereonine, Trytophan, Tyrosine, Valine), Rice

Life powder (Brown Rice), Natural Cocoa Powder, Apple Fiber, Organic Cane Sugar,

Proprietary Ayurvedic Blend (Guggul, Amalaki, Green Tea, Haritaki, Turmeric,

Gymnerma, Cayenne Pepper), Xanthan Gum, Stevia, L-Taurine, L-Theanine.

The product whole food ingredients have shown no known side effects, drug

interactions or overdose level as once again the product is 100 percent whole

food and 100 percent water soluble.

In addition to checking with her doc -you can make a paste of NV with a bit of

water and put that on her skin to see if it creates any type of rash. If she

was allergic good chance it would cause a rash. Also if you do try it -start

with just a tiny bit and observe for any sign of allergic reaction. Again would

be very rare -but it is possible to be allergic to just about anything -even the

sun!
