Prompt therapy?

Still new at this and trying to understand the difference. My SLP says that she

uses touch cue (like in Prompt) and Madelyn is progressing. I am in the process

of adding more ST through E.I., and I wanted to split the sessions between the

current therapist and a Prompt therapist. She thinks that this would be

confusing for her, and since she is making progress we should stick with what

she has been doing.

Madelyn (now 26 months) was non verbal when we started 4 months ago, and now

vocalizes all the time and has many words that we understand. She uses tons of

word approximations and repeats everything we say. Her therapist has 30 years of

experience treating kids and has had much success with children with apraxia.

What makes Prompt different?
