Guest guest
I have to ask to write something up for http://pursuitofresearch.org/testimonials.html but in the meantime she has given me permission to share her updates here. Below is more information about 10/11 (?) year old Tal and his journey from the US to Israel -how his apraxia added to the issues of suddenly having to learn to speak, read and write in another language as well. Back around December 2009 had called me to ask for help for her son with this move as she has been a member here for awhile and I recall at the time as it was earlier in our NV journey saying " I do have suggestions but I want you to try something that is going to sound crazy " and told her all about NV and my son Tanner's academic and other surges. Needless to say her son too had surges in about a week in this area like the rest here -reported as well by the school...but I find it amazing because in Tal's case he had to have this improvement in a second language (!!!) Also...I find it nothing shy of a miracle that I by mistake found a way to help the (by the way many as my son Tanner is just one of them) no longer " children " with apraxia. Goodness knows with the mean " childhood apraxia of speech " name that someone came up with for 3 year olds clearly not thinking that kids grow up and apraxia is not a childhood nor a developmental condition -that tween, teens and young adults have enough PR issues to deal with -thank goodness with NV there is a way to help them, that IS helping in most cases right away get up to speed in speech as well as so many other areas http://pursuitofresearch.org/pursuit.html so that the diagnosis name CAS or childhood apraxia of speech some still use can't hurt them after they leave childhood! (but as a PS to that I personally would NOT allow that name on my child's permanent school or medical records -just have them write " apraxia " or verbal apraxia, oral apraxia, etc) If anyone would like to be in touch with let me know. " Dear , A quick update to tell you how Tal is getting along and to order some more netriiveda. Tal continues to make tremendous progress in so many areas. Sometimes I feel like we have a totally normal kid and I have to pinch myself because I can't believe what I'm hearing come out of his mouth both in language and academics. In other aeas he is still on his journey, but hey, arn't we all!! Thank you , so much for discovering this wonderful product!! Two years ago Tal could not add one plus one and now he is doing square roots and multiplication! Tons of hugs, Love sarah " From after one month on NV Re: Nutriiveda update from Israel New update from -about a one month on nutriiveda update! Just some background for new people -being Tal used to live in the US and recently moved to Israel there were some academic challenges with language differences as well. Being her son like mine is a bit older I told her what happened to Tanner with his academics surges after even just a week on nutriiveda as reported by his head of school not knowing if he'd improve in academics as well...and he is!!! It's not all in her emails as we speak -but she's getting positive feedback about Tal's writing etc which is just incredible! The following is a one month update " We are continuing to see some lovely improvement in Tal's speach. It's clarity and use of more sophisticated words is quite remarkable. He also got up at his brothers barmitzvah this weekend and sang a beautiful but very difficult prayer in front of the congregation and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Thank you! Take care, ' I chose this message to send this update on top of as it includes an update from after Tal was on NV for a few months- clearly he's come much further along and like Tanner continues to go above and beyond what is " normal " How awesome and congratulations to ...and to all please continue to share here -or if sent to me with permission to share here as does so that more children can benefit from NV because their parents will finally at least try it!!! =====
