Guest guest
Hi, I am new to the group and I am really getting alot of great information. Thank you to everyone for your input and to for managing this group. My son has high functioning Autism, SPD and verbal apraxia. I would like to try Nutriiveda and fish oils for my son and I am wondering if you can give them together? I just recently took my son off of Speak because of the effects on his behavior and poor appetite. After stopping Speak, those symptons went away. So I am also looking for another fish oil. I looked on the Nordic Naturals website and I am confused as to the difference between ProEFa/ProEPA and just EFA/EPA? Sorry for the silly question, I am new to this. Are there any other negative side effects from Nutriiveda? Although the side effects from Speak weren't horrific, I am a little apprehensive about trying something without doing alot of research. Thanks, Gomez
Guest guest
In my opinion you are extremely fortunate that the only side effects you saw on speak were poor appetite and behavior- we had reports of horrific side effects on that product speak and in my opinion it's due to mega high levels of both vitamin E and vitamin K which are both fat soluble vitamins. Our group was the first to try this supplement which I consider dangerous and if you check archives it appears far more negative reports and few positive. I am shocked (and horrified) it's still on the market based on the feedback of side effects reported in as soon as a few days. You can find all in the link section here: /links/Pharma_Omega_Spea\ k_reports_from_group_001224703760/ Side effects reported were of seizures, regressions etc. Please read this here as well from our apraxia.org site: http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=115029735601 & topic=7363 To me speak is a perfect example of what can go wrong with supplementing your child with...well supplements. There is a difference between giving your child 240 mg of potassium and a banana....the banana is a whole food source which means it comes courtesy of Mother Nature -balanced. You also want to watch fat soluble vitamins as they store in the body and can reach toxic levels -well all nutrients just supplemented can ...look up hypervitaminosis- that's a fancy word for " vitamin poisoning " That right there is the beauty of nutriiveda...it's whole food and 100 percent water soluble!!! And it's working it seems in almost all diagnosis and ages. The biggest problem for nutriiveda is trying to get kids who are used to a high fat, sodium and sugar diet to eat something so healthy...so I put together this page http://pursuitofresearch.org/serving_suggestions.html Nutriiveda is a whole food product where each serving supplies ALL the essential amino acids and nutrients FROM WHOLE FOOD SOURCES which is the purest form of supplementation and the easiest for the body to digest and utilize as it's balanced. Better yet is that nutriiveda is 100 percent water soluble. There are no known side effects, drug interactions, overdose level etc. Yes like fish oils we are hearing some reports of the child being hyper or sassy the first week, but that levels off quickly. Nutriiveda supports the metabolic system so it seems to increase appetite in those that need to gain weight and decrease appetite in those that need to lose. There are no drugs or caffeine in it. It's also GFCF, fat, sodium free and 100 percent natural and each ingredient is tested free of any heavy metals, pesticides or herbicides. In my opinion it's probably the " cleanest " food you can feed your child ever!!!! I made it easy for you for the research because I have everything on the site. Info to share with child's doctor http://pursuitofresearch.org/NutriiVeda_Information.pdf Ingredients http://pursuitofresearch.org/ingredients.html Doctors behind the formula http://pursuitofresearch.org/advisors.html Scientific parent and doctor theories as to why it's " working " http://pursuitofresearch.org/science.html Areas to expect surges in which are being reported it seems across the board in it seems all ages and diagnosis http://pursuitofresearch.org/pursuit.html You may also want to see these videos which explain why Chopra Center partnered with this company and about some of the ingredients in nutriiveda. http://www.youtube.com/user/ZriiCorpTV#p/u/28/ZaivEPmwvNg Why Chopra Center is behind nutriiveda etc. http://www.youtube.com/user/ZriiCorpTV#p/u/24/LCWOyqIzK08 About some of the doctors and some about ayurveda (this is for another product the company has but some are the same ingredients) And I shared nutriiveda with around 9 to 14 professionals of all sorts -medical, nutritional, alternative and ayurvedic prior to putting my son Tanner on it. And as one grandparent just told me this was the type of response I got too " Noah's other grandmother has spoken to a well known doctor (whose had numerous publications) that she works with at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Glaser, whom she respects greatly, and he looked at the ingredients and assured her that the Nutriiveda was nutritiously sound and he saw no reason that Noah couldn't drink it " (Dr. Glader M.D., Ph.D., Washington University in St. Louis (1996) Assistant Professor of Psychiatry Neuropsychopharmacology) Again you have all the links so makes it easy to look into it- and we have TONS of testimonies as it's working pretty much across the board...these are just a few at this point http://pursuitofresearch.org/testimonials.html Let me know if you have any questions after reading this...but for real my advice is TRY THIS!!!!! (again if I can put those words bigger with lights around them and perhaps some music I would- but I'm limited with plain text) =====
