Guest guest
Hello, my son Ross was recently diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia. He is 2 years, 9 months old. He had no words at 2 years, 3 months, and now with once per week therapy via the ECI Keep Pace Program and our work at home, he has 70-80 words though all may not be perfectly clear. This was the fourth SLP evaluation we have had, but the first where he could use words at the evaluation. Therefore, I believe the apraxia diagnosis was able to be determined, and I do believe this is what he has. He has trouble producing the right sounds, but he tries very hard! I am so glad that we have made progress via ECI, and I'm now looking at ways we can increase his therapy sessions and the resources available to kids with apraxia. I just ordered the Nordic Naturals ProEFA capsules and am wondering how many I am supposed to give my child per day? Just one or more? I read how I'm supposed to poke a pin in the capsule and squeeze the serum out to give it to him - but I don't know how many capsules I should be using. And I'm afraid it won't say on the bottle how many to give an almost 3 year old. Can anyone help me?
