Help needed in locating specialists in Tacoma, Washington area

Hi,

 

I am trying to help my sister in law who has a son who is 8 yrs. He has speech

related issues, may be on the autism spectrum, has emotional issues etc. My

nephew has a lot of the same similiar issues as our children and my son. He is

also having major school related issues. I was telling her she should bring him

to Developmental Pediatrician and a Developmental Psychologist to evaluate him

further. She asked me where to find them .

 

My problem is this I live in another state way across the U.S. from her.

 

Could someone on the list serve help me find a Developmental Pediatrician and a

Developmental Psycholgist and possibly some recommendations on other places in

the

Tacoma, Washington area?

 

Also is there anyone who lives close to Tacoma, Washington?

 

She would be interested in connecting with someone who is in her area who might

be able to help her further.

 

If anyone can help  me with this information. I would highly appreciate it.

 

By the way we think there is a genetic link in our family so far there are 5 of

the grandkids with very similiar issues and 3 with severe speech disorders.

I have not worked with him personally, but have a list from McCarthy's

doctor of pediatricians that might be able to help you. The closest on the list

is in Oregon.

I realize this may not be close enough, but if you call his office they might be

able to provide you with a name of a good doctor in Seattle. Good Luck.

You should subscriebe to AutismRecoveryWA and ask there.

There are people on the list who lives in Tacoma.

Many people from the Seattle area see Dr.Green( us too).
