Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My children had an incredible week! First off, I want to let you all know that my son has 3 weeks left and he will be totally off of his seizure med. Tegretol!! He has been on this med. for 9 years. I am thrilled to have him off of medication as I am not a big fan of any meds. and their host of side effects. This week his school went on a field trip to Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead. He was mostly with his teacher and speech therapist the whole time and they said he was Talking the whole day saying " what's that " and pointing, saying " where we going " " come over here " They were ecstatic as was I to hear that he was doing this at a school function because he usually does not express verbally in the school setting. He even responded to something that was said on the loud speaker! Yesterday and Lily had their Special Olympic Horseback Riding Program and it was the first day that the instuctor was teaching them left and right turns with reins. Well, my daughter was pulling on the correct reins when she called out the instruction and I didn't even know that she knew her left from her right!! Same thing with ! I have to say that the Nutriiveda seems to be constantly helping them, It's not that I notice something different everyday, but it's amazing how they are changing. Also, toileting issues are a BIG problem, but that area in the last couple of weeks has improved as well, we still have a long way to go with that area, but I see a difference in the cooperation level and success level!! This is a HUGE milestone for both of them (as you see their ages) and a big step toward independance!! YAY!! But everything is an ongoing process so I say to all of you. Keep moving forward, and give the NV a try at least. It's just food, probably the healthiest thing they can consume that's available to us. If anyone in the NEW York area would like to speak to me about NV you can contact me at 631-447-0615 or daffy4@...
