Guest guest
Article is fascinating, indeed. I sleep about 6 1/2 hours per night. Have trouble with appetite. Sometimes it's hard to fight. Maybe it 's sleep I need. Thanks, Ed S. "T. My husband doesn't sleep much at all (I would guess maybe 5 hours a night average) and has big problems with appetite control. Perhaps sleeping pills would solve both problems. Wonder if it's worth a try? Also as people age, they sleep less and as we all know with age comes middle age spread. Correlation?
Guest guest
Maybe there is a correlation. This is a case of an easy hypothesis to test, assuming one can actually get to sleep and stay that way for a while. I take melatonin, which is how I get the 6+ hours. As a 30 year old, I slept 4 or 5 hours a night, and during that time usually had nightmares. I was hungry then, too. That's how I gained the weight. Anyway, it can be tested on an individual basis. If it works, it works. If it doesn't nothing lost. I copied the article and sent it to my cpa friend, Ted. I called him at 8:30 this morning. Turns out he'd been awake (not doing tax returns, but a toothache) most of the night. He'd been asleep about an hour when I phoned. He seemed to appreciate the call that woke him up to tell him it would be easier to do cr if he'd get more sleep. He was very polite....considering. Ed S. "T.
