Guest guest
Unfortunately Matt completely freaked out and would NOT wear the alarm. His fears are overwhelming and change is not an easy thing for him (and yet - at other times he can be so flexible and accommodating - you just never know). My husband came up with the idea of having him wear it tomorrow while playing Wii - his favorite activity. Maybe that will help him overcome his fear of the device. I did tell him that if he woke up dry he would not have to wear it - but if he woke up wet he would - as the alarm is just something to help him - that it is not something scary. But wouldn't it be funny if just the motivation of not wanting to wear something that frightens him does the trick. I doubt it will be (cuz it is not as if he doesn't want to wake dry already) but it would be funny. We'll keep working on this! And at some point in the future, he'll be sleeping through the night dry constantly and this challenge will be behind us. LOL - although I am sure when that future point happens - we'll be striving to overcome another challenge or a number of challenges! I think that is called life!
