Hi Jeanne. Along with the below mentioned services I offer, I am setting up

a test preparation class to aid students with the NJ ASK and Terra Novas, as

well as any other state tests being given. The classes would start late

January and run for six weeks. They will be held in Northern NJ ( Ft. Lee,

West NY area). The classes will run for 1.5 hours eavch and cover reading

stratagies, math clues and word problem skills, graphic organizers and other

ideas to help with the wrting prompts. I am also including my bio for anyone

Abby Kuntz-, M.A., LDTC

I am both a special education teacher and an LDTC I hold a B.A. in mental

retardation from University of North Carolina @ Charlotte and a M.A. in

guidance and habilitation for people with special needs from Teachers

College, Columbia University. I have recently completed my coursework for my

Learning Disability Teacher Consultant (LDTC) certification. In my special

education career I have been privileged to work with a variety of students

who had a vast array of disabilities. I have worked with:

Preschool aged children with autism

Third, Fourth and Fifth grade inclusion

Third, Fourth and Fifth grade resource room, both pullout and push in

services

Six, Seventh and Eighth grade self-contained

I have familiarity and training in the following therapies:

Preventing Academic Failure ( PAF)

LoVaas

Applied Behavior Analysis ( ABA)

Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI)

Differentiation of Instruction

I also have a strong background in behavioral analysis and remediation.

Provide parental support in creating and implementing a behavior

plan

Review and explain the IEP process and paperwork
