Reading this brings me so much hope for my son. Thank you so much for sharing

and for all you do. Your book the late talker has helped me more than you'll

ever know and to read these updates I feel like I know you and your son. Kate

he's engrossed in one of his books (we just bought about 4 more at and

Noble) He knew that he was supposed to be sleeping- and I knew that too. But

this time I let him keep reading. It's still summer break, and I'm just going

to enjoy knowing that while I may regret this decision tomorrow -right now I'm

just so happy that he's so happy. He spends most of the days with his friends

outside swimming and playing, he's doing so well in so many areas (

http://pursuitofresearch.org/pursuit.html ) since being on nutriiveda -and this

surge in his reading and academics, I just can't wait to see what he does this

coming year.

> Romesa is a mom in our group that just ordered nutriiveda for her child, but

she has a friend, Robin, who has a child with autism (speech is not affected)

that lives near me in Jupiter, Florida. I met Robin yesterday at a store that

was in between our two homes so she could try the nutriiveda for her son who is

9 years old. He has had issues with tantrums, anger, head banging and butting,

very aggressive to others etc. She gave him 2 scoops in a shake last night and

she said " nothing different last night " and gave him another 2 scoops this

morning (yesterday morning now???) and dropped him off at this program he's in

that he's been in. Up till today she said he would throw tantrums all day

-that's what he does as he is " full of anger " ...but that was prior to just 4

scoops and less than 24 hours of nutriiveda... when she walked in to pick him up

this other child (not her son -even though he was acting very different too so

you can say he was a different child) came running up to her saying how her son

was his new best friend and " can he come over to his house for a sleep over? "

Robin told me her son had always had trouble making friends before... and this

child just loved her son. While they were driving home she talked to her son

about his day and he told her that he " felt very calm all day " and that nothing

got him angry. He also said that he already remembered an entire thing he had

to do which typically he wouldn't and that " his memory seems better "

>

> Prior to nutriiveda Robin told me that she has spent thousands trying all

kinds of things. In fact when Romesa first contacted her about nutriiveda she

didn't even want to TRY it!!! She was very skeptical.

> Tonight we talked about how if this continues her son for the first time will

be able to be mainstreamed. (he's been in special schools or home schooled all

his life) And her son has never been able to play sports because of his severe

anger issues- if anyone tackled him in football for example " he would KILL

them " ...today on the way home her son said to her, " mommy maybe now I will be

able to play football "

> So it's late here- after 1 AM in the morning...and I am just sitting here

thankful that I happened to have discovered something that has not only been

life changing for my son Tanner...but for other children of all ages and

conditions. So I guess again I'm just thinking -if Tanner wants to read....let

him read. He's following in really good footsteps. I once read about

Earl that when he discovered books he realized there was an entire world

he could get lost in where his speech ability didn't matter. He didn't stutter

when he read books in his head.

>

> I'm not sure if this is what I read -but it makes the same point

>

> " It's hard to imagine Earl without his booming Darth Vader voice.

But once upon a time, , 71, kept silent because of his tough time

pronouncing words -- a problem that he now speaks freely about, even to members

of Congress, PEOPLE reports.

>

> " As a child, I gave up speech. I stuttered badly, and so I retreated and lived

in a world of silence rather than speak, " told a congressional panel

Tuesday. " But I found my voice in books and I found the expanded vocabulary that

is so important for someone who stutters. "

> The actor and Verizon phone company pitchman testified before the U.S. House

Committee on Education and the Workforce as part of a literacy program titled

" Verizon Reads. "

>

> " To be illiterate in America -- or anywhere for that matter -- is to be

unsafe, uncomfortable and unprotected, " said at the hearing.

>

> As a child, he recalled, " I was mute to the outside world, but there were

hundreds of conversations in my head. And that is the beauty of reading that all

children discover. The world that grown men and women discover when they, too,

learn to read. "

> For those of you that don't know -Tanner had remarkable surges in reading

within about a week or so after starting nutriiveda...yes that quick and it was

noticed by his teachers and head of school. He didn't start NV till he was 13

-Fall of 2009, and prior to that week it was a struggle to get him to read, or

write. Not that he couldn't- but it was like pulling teeth as they say. He had

even had a talk with the head of school about how much he hated reading. He did

test to have a developmental lag in this area. And to go from that to all of a

sudden a child that LOVES reading so much he reads one book after another, is

reading above grade level -a child who can now write an essay on any topic, can

talk in depth about what books he is reading...just night and day remarkable

change -and so sudden...and easy. If you were to have told me I would never

have believed this. And as you can read here

http://pursuitofresearch.org/testimonials.html he's not the only one. And

what's so funny is that I just knew based on the feedback that Robin would see

something that quick in her son. It's clear that we are on to something!!!
