My son is doing so good in First grade!!! yay!!

He was diagnosed with oral and verbal apraxia and sensory issues at age 3 !! I

held him back in Kindergarten, and wow is all that I can say!! He is doing so

well in First grade!!! Spelling tests are A's and reading is great!! He goes to

speech 4 days a week, and gets pulled for sped. tutoring daily, but is doing so

well that he may not need it for too much longer!! All I can say is don't give

up!!! He has a few kids that make fun of his speech, but I make sure that the

teacher takes care of it!!! I feel so good about the progress, that I needed to

motivate others!! There were many nights crying over this, wondering why and

when he would ever be able to talk.. we still have a bumpy road, but wow.. we

are steadily climbing.. keep fighting!!!!
