There's a new sheriff in town - cont....

Hello everyone... I just have to share tonight. I was going to wait until

morning, but, nah, don't want to! :-) This afternoon, I offered Isaac his second

cup of the NV and he drank 1/2 of it without me having to hold him in place,

forcing him to drink it! I suppose the memory of the unpleasant experience was

still fresh in his mind and he did it on his own! He didn't want any more after

that, I was tickled and it was still early in the day, so I just popped it in

the fridge for later. After dinner, I offered it to him again, knowing he HAD to

be thirsty. He pushed it away, so, the Nutriiveda Sheriff had to immobilize him

once again and put the sippy cup nipple in his mouth to get him to drink it. The

funniest thing happened... he didn't fight me, although he didn't like it too

much, he just layed there and started to drink it. It's like, he KNEW it was no

use to put up a fight. Half way through, I changed our position and just held

him in my arms like a baby and he drank it, peacefully!!!

All I can report so far is just the EASINESS of taking care of him today. It is

hard to explain, but, he was sooo easy going! He was just like a laid back

person, just chillin, smiling all the time... when I cut his hair with the

clippers today, he didn't freak out. He has basically just gone with the flow

today. I am so proud of him. He was watching Super Readers today and when the

special letters popped up on the screen, he was so alert and into the show, he

pointed to them and looked at me, like, " look mom, there they are!!!! " . He is

mimicking so many sounds now. I know I will see many more things coming from him

soon and will keep you all posted!
