Guest guest
You can check with the ped or a nutritionist but to me as it's whole food and water soluble the only thing you want to not go over is too much protein. A 2 to 3 year old which is your child's age would needs between 13 to 50 grams for a thousand calorie diet http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/nutrition-for-kids/NU00606 ...so as each scoop is 10 grams of protein depending upon what you feed your child the rest of the day you are probably fine with going up to a heaping scoop or two but of course I'd want you to check that out outside of me- others have and that's why I know what dosages are being approved. The highest approved dosage I know for a 2 year old is 2 scoops -the highest I know for a 3 year old is 3 scoops. If people have kids higher they are not sharing. I have updated dosages here http://pursuitofresearch.org/faq.html as well as the info to share with your child's doc. As many toddlers today eat carbs, fat, etc it's probably unlikely your 2 year old is getting too much protein throughout the rest of the day with a scoop or even two scoops of NV at 2 years old. This is why I say -scoop of NV and an Eggo waffle for breakfast and now you really do have a healthy breakfast! (thanks to NV!!!) And any new updates to share?! =====
