Fluffer nutter sandwich Tanner story

Just wanted to share this as first of all I have to say we are not the

fluffernutter type of family.

As many of you know Tanner has become as close to " normal " now as whatever that

means. Speech, school, focus, energy level, sense of humor, facial expressions

have all surged since we started the nutriiveda. Also I again cut his fish oils

in half from 4 ProEFA 2 ProEPA to 2 ProEFA 1 ProEPA and again anytime prior to

this that I lowered his dosage he would regress. I again don't want to stop

fish oils for either of my boys ever as heart disease runs strong in both my

family and Glenn's as both our dads died after heart attacks...and Glenn had a

heart attack and thankfully (probably because he was on fish oils!!) lived and

has " no heart damage "

Talking to Tanner now..I can say I almost get giddy. I mean his back and forth

-his sense of humor -facial expressions. As he's talking I'm not just listening

to him but I'm noticing all these changes and while I know nothing compares to

the surges Robin is seeing in which is why I don't update much - just

wanted to say this product has been a blessing to us even if it's in much

smaller ways...then again I can say I don't know if for Tanner they are small..I

mean prior to this simple addition he was a completely different child in so

many ways -and this is noticeable by not only us and the professionals -but

again by lay people -neighbors and friends.

Sometime after Christmas when Tanner went back to school he came home and said

" Mommy can you buy some marshmallow fluff? I want a fluffer nutter sandwich " I

never gave Tanner a fluffer nutter sandwich but guess someone at school had it.

A few times now Tanner checked with me " did you buy the marshmallow fluff yet?

I really want a fluffer nutter sandwich for lunch " And nope of course I didn't

because like I said I never buy stuff like that and always forgot...but he kept

reminding me -and he has been doing so incredible -so yesterday I finally

remembered and I bought a small jar of marshmallow fluff.

This morning, Tanner as he is getting ready for school, requests that I make his

" fluffer nutter sandwich on potato bread " So I did- what a gooey mess! (the

other thing he requested for lunch was salmon " with cream cheese, chopped onion

and chives " I mean as his speech has improved his requests have gotten more

extensive too! Tanner's one of the only children I know that loves all types of

fish including sushi from almost preschool age...probably due to all the years

of eating fish oil on a spoon!!!)

So I packed his lunch and I said all excited to Tanner " Tanner are you going to

scream in excitement?!! you have a fluffer nutter sandwich for lunch today! "

Tanner smiles at me as he's putting his sneakers on and says " Mommy I'm not

going to scream. It's just a sandwich " So I said " Sandwich? Just a sandwich?

No! It's a FLUFFER NUTTER SANDWICH! " And Tanner still smiling said " See? Even

you said " Sandwich " ! It's still just a sandwich and I'm not going to scream for

a sandwich " We were joking with each other for another couple of minutes like

this -and he was holding his own! Quick- words just flowing from him...it was

like watching a movie- it wasn't even like it was Tanner from just a few months

ago.

You have no idea how thrilled I am that Tanner today when I look at him -I know

he's going to be fine. After so many years of therapy...doing well but not

quite there- the regression on speak which lasted 7 months that he never quite

got 100 percent back to where he was prior. And now all of a sudden in effect

through something like Robin says I know seems too simple -too easy -he's a new

person. It's like the Tanner that was in him is able to come out. It's like

what Lori posted yesterday -it's like they know that they are able to do so much

more and are proud of it.

Just incredible. I do hope all of you that try it will see the same

results-it's been life changing for our family as well. Even to the point that

we now have marshmallow fluff in our house!!!! (only by special request for a

limited time)
