Guest guest
The surgery Tara had for her Chiari Malformation I which was making it even painful for her to laugh is over and she is resting now -thank goodness! Here's the history of the past few hours: They arrived at the hospital a bit early 'and' the doctor was delayed and because they gave Tara a drug that made her " loopy " (too bad no extra for Maureen who probably could have used some!) Maureen wrote " Just before they gave her the sleepy meds. That made her very loopy and she saw doubles of Max on Max and Ruby. Than surgeon got delayed, so loopy lasted longer than supposed to. We got here too early this am but she's in now, so now we wait! " There was a photo of Tara in her surgical outfit -same cute little face as always. The surgery must have taken a few hours because three hours later Maureen updated with a simple " We are in recovery. All went well! " and then the more recent just a few hours ago " She's resting. I get a meal plan and dont go broke eating her leftovers, cafeteria food and on the streets on nyc! " Will keep everyone posted as Maureen writes more! If anyone has a message for Maureen and Tara let me know and I will cut and paste and pass them on -I'm sure she'll appreciate it! =====
Guest guest
More prayers for little Tara...latest update from Maureen she just wrote on my wall: " We are in a regular room now. A couple screaming toddlers made it tough to sleep last night, tonight should be better. If she keeps fluids in and eats some food, maybe tomorrow. " Please continue to send comments here for Maureen -I'm posting them on her wall so she has something to read and so she knows we are all thinking of her and sending prayers for Tara's recovery from this major brain surgery. Thanks! =====

Guest guest
Many prayers for Tara and your whole family. I can't imagine going through an ordeal like that, but thank god it went successfully, and she will be doing better each day. ~~Dawn Falley > > > > More prayers for little Tara...latest update from Maureen she just wrote on my wall: > > > > " We are in a regular room now. Guest guest
Happy to hear that the surgery went well as I would imagine before and during brain surgery on your child would be the most stressful times. I hope all get time to rest and heal now. God bless! > > More prayers for little Tara...latest update from Maureen she just wrote on my wall: > > " We are in a regular room now.
