Guest guest
Thank you for the update...OK seems to be official. Possible side effect (benefit?) of nutriiveda is hyperactivity. Now we have to see if that's temporary (as it is in the fish oil) or not. You can lower the dosage a bit -try 1 and a 1/2 scoops and then work up to the 2? Or are you only using one for him? Also as Sowmya pointed out she no longer views it as hyper as much as it's like he's more aware and just wants to experience everything -it's like he's noticing things for " the first time " we keep hearing that. Again read Mel's blog and that's what it sounds like for her too http://littlemermaidmelanie.wordpress.com/about To me it sounds like she's come out of a coma and even Robin too says it's like she's seeing the world for the first time. In the one blog Robin is out at Costco or a store like that around Christmas- super busy crowded = and Mel typically could never go out to a store with the crowds and her sensory and other issues and Mel (all happy) said " Ma! " and Robin said " What is it Mel? " and she said " It's Christmastime! " I don't know why but I quote that one to so many people. To me it sums it up. I mean 25 years old and for the first time she's doing and saying and noticing so much. I get tears in my eyes reading that blog. For awhile I didn't update here about Tanner because the things I see in Tanner are so little in comparison to Mel -but I realize that Mel's story is so unique...and it's now so full of hope. Here's a message just posted to our BigTent group (is everyone a member there yet???) What's cool about BigTent is you can see photos of the people posting and each person has their own page- can start blogs etc. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` I have had a lot of success with mixing 1/2 teaspoon of the chocolate Nutriiveda in with 's daily chocolate milk. It blends perfectly and tastes just like regular chocolate milk. My husband, the ultimate skeptic, didn't even notice the difference! We just started the Nutriiveda a few days ago and , who is 4, has been getting about 1 scoop a day... Here are some of the things I've already noticed... has two new phrases that he's just been blurting out - " That's cool! " and " Come check this out! " I was utterly stunned when he said both of them within a matter of hours of each other. has also been singing a lot today. I know that probably sounds odd, but he never sings or hums, and several times today, I've heard him singing the Go, Diego, Go theme song to himself. I'm feeling really good about the results so far. Hopefully, they continue https://www.bigtent.com/groups/cherab ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I want everyone to share everything good and bad- that is the only way we learn. I have my whole family on this product -my boys -if there is anything anyone knows that I need to know I want to know. So far all I've heard are good things from professionals and so far no negative reports other than hyper (which interestingly enough appears to have the exact opposite effect on most -even without ADHD but even with ADHD everyone reports feeling more " focused " ) And for you -it totally has to work -I've seen it work in people that were all different ages and sizes now -in my neighborhood when people run out you have no idea everyone is borrowing from each other like we are addicts or something. My husband laughs at us and my friends say " you have no idea this stuff is like gold " . The newest drink recipe my one friend's daughter came up with? Chunks of watermelon with 2 scoops of vanilla and some water and ice in a blender- watermelon smoothie. I was told it's delicious- bought the watermelon but ran out of vanilla because everyone keeps borrowing from me! Are you drinking water? This is going to sound to personal but in ayurveda it's also all about elimination. You should be 'moving' each time you eat from your previous meal...are you? Here's the program guide for us (adults) developed by the Chopra Center but through Zrii https://zriibucket.s3.amazonaws.com/v1/flash/2/docs/NutriiVeda.pdf Also are you using it once a day or twice? Once a day is for maintenance so if you want to lose you should use it twice. Yes even though only 3 days -you should have for sure lost already so let me know. Also you aren't on antibiotics or any huge amount of supplements are you? Well either way -WOOHOO about your son!!! =====
Guest guest
Where do you order the product? Did you get a doctors ok? From: bernice.barbosa <bernice.barbosa@...> Subject: [ ] Day 3 for us on Nutriveda Date: Saturday, January 23, 2010, 10:02 PM  Hey Everyone Just giving an update my 4yr old PDD Son is on day 3 It was difficult at First to have him drink it but Now I put it in his orange juice (weird choice but he drinks it). I have seen definitely a bit more aware of his surroundings (could just be me analyzing him all day =) He has been trying to make conversation a bit more than usual...Only downside is the hyperactivity (nothing horrible) But he would nap for me, he no longer takes naps and is pretty much energized for a good 2 hrs after drinking it. I will say not to sure again if its me just looking really hard lol But his Eye contact is like 95% there. One thing I did notice which was yesterday I did not give the nutriveda till after he napped just so I can have a little break and when he woke up the sun had set and he said mommy nite time oh no....he realized he had went to bed and the sun was shinning and when he woke up it was dark ( not typical ) so it's little things for now but we'll see in another week. I would say its worth a shot, I don't think it has helped me loose any weight lol But I guess we'll see I wouldn't mind 5 or 10lbs but I should at least give it a week as well. Guest guest
I recommend getting a doctor's OK more for your own peace of mind at this point as so far it's been approved by everyone I checked with and as of yet not one pediatrician has not approved it as you'll read in the message below. You can find info on how to order at http://www.pursuitofresearch.org and http://www.nutraeasy.com Here's an update page from our http://www.apraxia.org fb page from a few days ago Anecdotal reports from the Cherab group about the ayurveda so far http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=115029735601 & topic=7690#/topic.php?uid=115\ 029735601 & topic=13047 =====
