OT- need Neuro in Colorado or New Mexico

HI there

I thought there was some one on here from Colorado...if so......

I have a dear friend who lives in Durango & needs to find a good neuro for her

11 year old son who has been having seizures recently. 

 He does not have any other medical issues that they know of but the seizures

came out of no where during a camping trip last summer. 

He fell back off a large rock and his eyes rolled back was.

He has had 2 more since then & they have been brief seizures. 

The most recent one was starring at the wall with no answer to his name for over

10 minutes (more like an absent seizure??)

While I know it is nothing like what most of your kiddos deal with in regards to

severity of epilepsy, she is still obviously concerned.

 But she has been told to not worry (of course- isnt that what they say all the

time??)

They are willing to drive to Denver, grand junction, colorodo springs, &

albequrqe if it means it is a good doctor.

Hi ,

I would have her look in the Denver area. Unfortunately, Durango is NOT a hop,

skip, ot jump to any metro area. There are MANY really great docs in Denver at

the University based hospitals.
