Guest guest
This morning we were getting ready for school and Tanner had asked me to make him egg salad for lunch today. So I had the eggs in a bowl on the ledge between the double sink we have so I could run cold water on the eggs and was one by one pulling them out of the bowl to shell them. Tanner was standing there drinking his NV and watching me and after I pulled one of the eggs out the bowl it tipped but not all the way into the sink because Tanner quickly reached out his hand and caught it. Tanner: " Mommy did you see how quick my reflexes are?! I just caught that bowl " I have to say that like jumping over the bush this would rank high on Tanner's " NV has done so much good for me " list. He honestly had a look on his face of clear and utter shock. He said " I can't believe I caught that it was so quick...how did I do that? " We both looked at each other and said " nutriiveda " Tanner previous to NV...his reflexes slightly slower than the norm so just all of a sudden quick reflex would be awesome in itself, but in addition to the quick reflex HE WAS ONCE AGAIN MULTI TASKING!!! Multi tasking again is something that Tanner never did prior to NV at 13 years old and it would frustrate him if you asked him too. He would do one thing at a time -that was Tanner. Cut to today: Tanner remember was holding his NV drink with one hand, watching me make the egg salad as I was answering his question about how people used to make eggs salad in the " old days " (when I was little I guess ha!) " before they used electric " as I have a hard boiled egg maker that looks like a chicken that you plug in and it makes perfect hard boild eggs...but while listening to my story about how people used to make hard boiled eggs in pots of boiling water in the old days (and some still do) Tanner caught the bowl that in a split second fell while holding the glass of NV he was drinking with his other hand! I once again have to say thank you nutriiveda for yet another thing to add to the list here http://pursuitofresearch.org/pursuit.html ...quick reflexes (should I say " while multitasking " or would that be too hard to believe?!) =====
