a new member looking for support

My daughter Ava was recently diagnosed with apraxia. She is 27 months and is

very behind in language. I joined this group for support and to find out more

information regarding this condition. I'm so glad I found other families in NJ

with the same condition. I would love to join any support group and talk to

someone in person.

I am in Northern NJ (Union County - close to and Essex).  Let me know if

you need specific information.  My son started speech therapy before 3 and at 5

he is speaking in sentences - still behind his peers in vocabulary,

articulation, etc.. but a communicator!!
