Moving to Denver - Need advice

Hello to all:

We just learned we'll be moving to Denver in October so I am scrambling to learn

about the area and options for my son, , who is 3 and has verbal apraxia

(we're the ones who keep posting the video on our blog

www.apraxiastory.wordpress.com)

We want to continue PROMPT Therapy and find a good school system that will be

supportive of either therapy services or have a great special education program.

Can someone tell me:

1. A great PROMPT certified therapist or practice that has good therapists?

I've submitted zip codes to PROMPT, but a personal reco is always better.

2. A good OT practice?

3. A few school options that would help with services or have great special ed

programs?

Finally, our insurance will be changing to Anthem BCBS, which I think is brutal

when it comes to covering apraxia. I know they only cover speech therapy for

rehabilitative reasons, not for developmental delays. I'm pulling together my

letters of necessity from the docs, the verbiage about it being Neuro and not

developmental, etc. But if anyone has had experience with this ins. group and

can provide insight, I'm all ears and it would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much - feel free to email me offline if you'd like, as well.
