The following is a list of what we have tried with him over the years. Thought I'd share it with you. As of 2 years ago he does not attend school but has speech therapy every morning from 8-12 (at home) and also has swim lessons 4x week. 1.Early Intervention programs in CA 2. Glenn Doman home therapy program (Family Hope Center, PA) 3 years 3. Reading program 4. Dietary program (gluten-, sugar-, lactose-, soy-, free) 5. Homeopathy 6. Cranio-sacral therapy 7. Tomatis 8. Son-Rise 9. Communicating Partners (www.jamesdmacdonald.com) 10: horseback riding 11. biochemical therapy 12. acupuncture 13. private school mainstreamed with aide 1 year 14. private school for special needs children 1 year 15. home therapy with speech therapists 3-6 hours a day (since 2 years ago) 16. uses PECs for scheduling, but he points to words to express his needs 17. uses a Neo laptop and is learning to spell (very slow progress) 18. is learning to write (very slow progress) 19. swim lessons 4x week While we are glad we tried the many programs, we can't say we saw a lot of improvement, but then maybe he would be worse off had we not done all that!
