Hi-

My son has a deletion on 10q23.31. We had further tests done- my husband

also has the same deletion and is fine. The Genetics people said that none

of the missing genes in our son's deletion have been equated with

Developmental Delays. I have read so much about Genetics.... it sounds like

your

child has a very small deletion. It may mean nothing. Ask for a copy of

the Genetics Report- if you have it.... and if it has the start point and

end point of the deletion on it, I can give you links to sites that will show

exactly which Genes are missing in that deletion. You can then look at

each Gene and see what they do... This helped me a lot.

I will write more on this in a separate post...
