Guest guest
Our son has partial complex seizures (focal epilepsy). We have been using Topomax for a few years now with no obvious problems. Neuro was going to switch us to Depakote a year or so ago, but we decided to stay with Topo. We had it planned to deliver a video to the neurologist on Friday so he can see the head tics, so unfortunately/fortunately the timing was right. Well, they turned out to be atonic seizures and not head tics. We are removing diamox and catapres altogether (slowly) and he is introducing Depakote with the Keppra already on her daily regimen. I read up on atonic seizures and it says medicines are a hit or miss. Does anyone have any success stories with atonic seizures? Guest guest
Hi, my daughter has generalized seizures (epilepsy) for 5 yrs. now, was on depakote for 2 yrs. but we had a lot of problems with her platelet levels and she had to be taken off because they were too low.Now she is on Keppra and it is controlling her seizures at this point. In January her neuro. is thinking of taking her off the seizure meds. after we do an EEG.She is currently taking Nutriiveda with much success and I am confident that this is making an impact on her non-seizure activity especially since my son has now been taken off his seizure med. Tegretol after 9 years. He had grand mal seizures. but after being on the Nutriiveda for 4 months we had an EEG done and it was normal, my son has never had a normal EEG since Birth!! It has been 1 month with no meds. for him and all is well.If you would like to contact me with any questions about Nutriiveda feel free. It is an all natural product, all from whole foods, gluten free, soy free, np preservatives, endorsed by the chopra center and has been approved by many mds. of parents in this group for use by the kids in this group, the success rate is huge. Guest guest
Hi Jeanne, I'm not sure how to email you through the group. I sent a message not too long ago asking how you and the boys are making out? I hope all is well. You all are in my prayers.
