Apraxia and my 10 yr old anyHelp in south jersey!!

We live near AC and it just a problem to get the help you need!Love to not

travel so far.My daughter can only do weekend drives she is PDD-nos mild autism

and a great kid & happy child.Also was a late walker.Sensory seeking but guards

her upper lip cant stand soft food to touch it!She bites her coconut milk yogurt

spoon.GF/CF no sugar and soy in her diet.She had bad reflux as a child.She has

to close her eyes to say the few words she can say.(Again) is easy for her (mom)

I get every couple weeks (I want) im starting to hear more.Speech gets better

after a flu. We

are doing Vantage light trial now.She gets it:) and uses the computer well exept

for the keys.She does well navigating you tube and home pictures. I just know

that someday with the right help this kid will talk.I work with her alot I feel

I get more speech than anyone! I wait it out. Thanks for the help ahead of

time.I have the late talker book and at one time got some speech therapy from

the woman that wrote the book.Is she still around NJ??? Deb k (glad to find this
