Hello my name is Claude. I recieved Dr Schultz Catalog and it came with a

pamphlet about herbs. Dr. Schultz talked about how Herbs are not as near as

potent as they should be and thats why they don't cure diseases. He said that

the herbs that he sell are potent enough to kill diseases. Has anyone had

success with Dr. Schultz Products? Please share them with me. Thank You

Hi everyone, I heard about an herb that helps you to get a lot of sleep.

Doesn't argentine help you sleep? I would aprecitate it if someone could

send me some information about an herb that helps you get some sleep. Thank

You

When I was taking coffee enemas, I took two capsules of Valerian and that

knocked me out for several hours. Lori

Wow Sara! I just checked out your photos and they are very inspirational. I

just started the exercises last week but haven't really begun the diet part

although I'm eating a lot better and trying to space out smaller more

frequent meals. DH and I are actually using Feb 5 as our " true " start date

once we get a chance to plan our meals, grocery shop, and get some

supplements.

We also work out in the evenings with the new barbells and bench that we

bought for the program. I feel so much better and have lost about 3 lbs over

the past 10 days even without following the diet 100%. We took our Before

pics lastnight. We bought a disposable camara so we can leave the film in

and take pics at 6 weeks and then 12 weeks before developing them. But just

getting into a bikini was awful. I'm 32, 5'4, 145 lbs (142 this morning) and

need to lose probably 25 lbs of fat and gain 10 lbs of muscle for a goal of

ending up at 130 overall. I know I would be thrilled with that. I have two

kids ages 2.5 and 16 months so mornings are nuts. But we've found it very

easy to work out around 9pm once the kids are in bed.

I've been lurking for a couple of days and had to send a note after seeing

Sara's awesome results. Its so nice to know these great results happen to

lots of people, not just the few that ended up in the book. That was my

concern, that only a small handful of the thousands actually had " real "

transformations. After going to some of the websites and listgroups and

viewing photos, I really feel I can expect real changes myself.

Wish me luck!

WOW! I am so excited!!! I am not too much fatter than your before

picture so I am giddy at the prospect of what I will look like!!! I

have a question, did you just do back to back Challenges with no break

in between? I am wondering exactly what I am supposed to do with myself

when the 12 weeks are over. Yes, I will not want to go back to my old

self, but what am I supposed to do? Is it healthy to live my entire life

like the Challenge or should I take a couple weeks off from the diet in

between or what?

You are beautiful. Can I send your picture URL to my husband to inspire

him as well? He is not totally sold on the idea of doing the Challenge.

As he puts it, he is not afraid of the gym work or the diet but he

doesn't want to fill out all those " damn charts " ! hehe

Welcome , do yourself a favor and have your Before shots developed NOW. If you are like most people, there's nothing like a look at them to get you going! Good luck, Leaner.

Yes, she IS beautiful - you don't want the wrong effect on your hubby

though! *hehe*

Ha! I thought the same thing at first, but I had just been too lazy

to read the " fine print " of understanding why they're significant.

Now I'm actually psyched on filling them out because I can track my

progress, which adds motivation.

Since you replied to my message I am guessing you are talking to me?

(Suzanne)

Even if you are not, I have an appointment with the trainer at my gym on

Saturday morning to measure my body fat, take my measurements and he

will even do my before pictures. YIKES! Nothing like a buff stranger to

see you at your worst, hehehe.

When my girlfriend got her before pictures back she said she was

ABSOLUTELY AAAAAAH-PALLED! hehe

I am starting on Monday. ROAR!

Francesca,

Actually I am American but my wife is Okinawan.

If you have any specific questions about Okinawa or the life here just ask.

In general here are some differences I have seen between American and Okinawa:

1)Older people are more respected and community bonding is VERY strong here.

2)Older people here seem much more physically and mentally active (i.e. there are many community center classes people go to... The park is full of people walking and jogging..). More father in law plays Go (a Japanese strategy game) for hours a day and my mother in law is taking Italian language and cooking classes. They both also do taichi and some chi gung.

3)Herbs are a natural part of the diet and used in cooking as opposed to being strictly medicinal.

4)Many people have gardens (we have a small one) and plant their some of their own food.

5)People try to eat at least 30 different foods a day for nutrition (i.e. in her brown rice my mother in law throws on some ground black sesame and about 5 different types of beans). This is standard throughout Japan.

6)The food servings are about 1/2 of what you find in America (or less).

7)There is a high vegetable intake. Tofu is made fresh daily (it tastes quite different).

8)Locals attitudes on Okinawa are very laid back.

That`s about all that comes to mind for now.

One popular melon that Okinawa is famous for is Goya. It is a bitter green melon that looks like a cucumber on steroids (it is covered with beadlike projections). It is high in vitamin C and is known for it`s health promoting qualities here. The garden we have is full of them so I have been eating lots of it recently.. Goya juice and Goya with other vegetables on rice. It is VERY bitter - definitely an aquired taste - but good after you get used to it.

: Re: Okinawan parentsHey Ed: AFAIK you're the first Okinawan on either list!! You guys are theultimate living laboratory that CR works!! VERY IMPORTANT POINTS!!! In a society that places such a high value on youth,

and discards their aged populations, I cannot see how ANY diet or regimen

could ultimately lead to a longer, happier life. This is one of the crucial

areas that CR neglects to address.
