Guest guest
Hi! I just got a hospital eval for my three yr old with severe verbal apraxia, they only did the " Preschool Language scale:4th edition " . He got three scores= auditory comp=SS92 expressive comm.=SS72 total language=SS80 (and there are percentages listed) I have NO idea how to look at these!! Is this a decent test for a child who has a handful of words but good receptive language? Are these really bad/low scores? What other tests are appropriate to get an understanding where a child is at with language if they have verbal apraxia? Also, are these tests standard where even children's hospitals should be doing them? thank you!!
