Guest guest
Day 17 It has continued to be extremely busy trying to get ready for the holidays. I found myself able to run as many errands that I needed to while taking and both of her sisters along. has been so pleasant and talkative that it is now fun to take her shopping with us just to see her facial expressions or her new found people watching skills. I was thinking while waiting in a very long line today with all the girls that I would not have been able to do this even a few weeks ago. For example when we had family and friends over for Thanksgiving dinner I had to send my husband and my two daughters out for all the groceries while Mel and I stayed home. Who would have known that Christmas would be so different with a new sense of freedom for our entire family? My husband is working on some house projects so I am able to run and get everything done as I am taking with me. The best part of this whole new situation is that is actually enjoying herself. Before all Mel wanted to do was watch TV and she never seemed happy, yet in these last two weeks it’s like a new world for her to explore and she wants to explore it now. is continuing to improve with her speech each day as well in regards to new words and sentences, longer sentences, as well as clarity. We have not had one day of regression since beginning the Nutriiveda. Before it was always one step forward and more than two steps back. Now we seem to be moving forward each day without taking any steps back. I still find myself awake a lot at night wondering what the next day, the next month, even the next year will bring with . Day 18 continues to work on her computer without any help and uses it thru out the day each day. was on her computer today and I asked her if she wanted any help and she said very loud and clear " no " and went back to her program. She still has the touch screen mastered but really is trying hard this past week with the mouse and while we did see some frustration the first day or so, now we see more determination. I told my husband today that I truly feel I finally have an easier life thanks to the Nutriiveda. The Nutriiveda is helping each one of us in our family in its own way. Who would ever think that one product could make such a huge difference in an entire family, especially my Mel! That is exactly what Nutriiveda has done. Day 18, not even 3 weeks yet and my daughter has had a transformation. had said hearing Mel’s story it’s almost like she’s come out of a lifelong coma and is finally seeing the world, us, her sisters. That does seem like a good analogy. As I sit here typing my blog I am still amazed at this product but very thankful for those who have made it possible and even more thankful that introduced the Nutriiveda to me and has been by our side the entire last 18 days. I’m thankful that found out about this product due to her own son Tanner’s surges on it. Please read Tanner’s story as well at http://www.pursuitofresearch.org and please share this information with your child’s doctor and don’t assume there isn’t hope in this world for your child no matter what age. No material gift could ever replace what has happened to our family the last 18 days. I told my husband this evening if this is as far as will go I feel we have finally won! I’ve said that almost from day one of Nutriiveda I guess because I never expected this to work for my Mel and I’m grateful for any changes. Not expecting more and more each day. My husband looked at me and he said there will be a lot of amazing changes for Mel in 2010 and that I just need to be patient because good things come to those who wait. I of course always having to get the last word in reminded him that we have been waiting 25 years, which is such a very long time that I sure hope the good things become great things! If this is where 18 days has brought us, I hold my breath to even imagine further into the future. But I am hopeful, and I also feel so fortunate to have found something after all these years that is helping my Mel. Merry Christmas all!
