Guest guest
The Kauffman center is in Michigan. Have you considered going there for an evaluation and then asking her for a recommendation of someone that is closer to where you live? I'm originally from Michigan and have considered going their and I don't think it's that far from where you are? She also does summer intensives. http://www.kidspeech.com/ [ ] Looking for a therapist in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I'm trying to find a therapist trained in the Kaufman or PROMPT approach. I'm looking for someone who lives in the Grand Rapids or Rockford area. Can anyone help me?
Guest guest
Hi. We had our son evaluated by Kaufman. He also goes to see her once a month for speech therapy. She couldn't think of anyone in our area to recommend. That is why I thought maybe someone who reads these posts may be able to help. It looks like there is a lack of qualified therapists for Apraxia in the area where I live. > > > The Kauffman center is in Michigan. Guest guest
Hi! What would be the standardized assessment for Apraxia aside from Kaufman Battery test? Thanks!
