The Kauffman center is in Michigan. Have you considered going there for an

evaluation and then asking her for a recommendation of someone that is closer to

where you live? I'm originally from Michigan and have considered going their

and I don't think it's that far from where you are? She also does summer

intensives.

I'm trying to find a therapist trained in the Kaufman or PROMPT approach. I'm

looking for someone who lives in the Grand Rapids or Rockford area. Can anyone

help me?

Hi. We had our son evaluated by Kaufman. He also goes to see her once a

month for speech therapy. She couldn't think of anyone in our area to

recommend. That is why I thought maybe someone who reads these posts may be

able to help. It looks like there is a lack of qualified therapists for Apraxia

in the area where I live.

Hi! What would be the standardized assessment for Apraxia aside from Kaufman

Battery test? Thanks!
