He is 4 1/2 years old, and began taking the NN 3-6-9 in October (1/2 tsp/dy). He now takes the NN 3-6-9 1/2 tsp/dy, NN ProEPA 1 capsule, 400mg of Vitamin e, and his Flinstone complete. We didn't tell his teachers or SLP we were starting him on the Omega's, and all reported he had the best quarter yet. He was more attentive and attempting more words and multi-word combos. My question is this.....should we wait for the fish oils to plateau, or go ahead and add the Nutriiveda to the mix? I only ask since he's been on the fish oils such a short time in comparison to others in the group. Guest guest
Kind of a tough question Jenice because just about any of our children with apraxia 'could' be diagnosed with an expressive receptive language disorder if inappropriately tested or even misdiagnosed. We've seen that happen lots. was for example misdiagnosed -but with mental retardation and autism (which she is neither) has TBI and profound global apraxia. Not sure if you read the blog her mom Robin has been keeping on Mel and her sisters since day one on nutriiveda but can read it here http://littlemermaidmelanie.wordpress.com/about You asked about seeing changes in " syntax, expression, receptive language, focus " and those are all the areas being reported. Of course nobody can guarantee you will notice any surges on the nutriiveda...but honestly I have more faith in this working for a greater majority than fish oil -because this is even working in those fish oils didn't work for...and it's working for those that fish oils worked for...and so quick and so many conditions. =====
