Thanks, . I thought it might be something like that, because the holes look

so precise, but I wanted to make sure.

Can't wait to try it.

Subject: [ ] Re: NV canister

-great question and yes those holes are there for aeration. It's

normal to see a bit of powder on the inside lid from the few holes in the seal

when opening a new canister. There probably is some reason that has to do with

no preservatives so this is probably some natural way to keep the product fresh

as long as it stays fresh without any preservatives? I'll ask -but do know that

those holes are there for aeration.

It is suggested by some of our members who are bakers or in nursing (yes really

both suggested the same thing!) to prior to using NV to gently turn the canister

upside down and shake a bit. The reasons for this ranged from:

1. Getting the scoop up to the top of the canister

2. Making sure all the nutrients are well mixed up (and for those that don't

shake which includes me as I would if I remember I can assure you does not

affect product's effectiveness!)

3. Brings air into the powder so it will poof up and last longer.

Again not a necessary thing to do -but one that is suggested. For getting the

scoop out -you can also use a butter knife...or if you are really lazy like me I

use the scoop from the previous canister until I hit the one in the new canister

hahaha

Sorry I didn't get back to you -making my way right now through my different

email accounts but rarely get to all of them at once -but promise I will answer

you! Let me know if you have any other questions!
