Guest guest
Last year about this time one of you posted a recipe for a toffee-like candy which starts with saletine crackers. I'd love to make it again---but can't find the recipe anywhere. Does anyone still have it? Thanks,

Debbie, There is a book out there called, " Making Natural Liquid Soaps, " by Faillor. I've read it, and it gives good advice. However, I would recommend starting with cold-process bar soap, to get the 'hang' of things, first. Cooking soap can be daunting at first, if you haven't even decided what to make. Of course, if you are brave, then jump right in and give liquid soap a try. I just think it's better to have some sort of success first, so then if things go to pot (so to speak), it's not as frustrating. As far as learning to soap goes, of course I would recommend my book. However, there are lots of soap making books out there, and most of them have sound advice. HTH, Amy author, " Making Soap In Your Own Kitchen. Guest guest
I use a variation on this recipe. I use about 2-3 tsp of natural peanut butter and 1 tsp of honey or choco syrup and cream it together. It takes quite some time to cream the NV into the PB, but it makes for a crumblier drier and not sticky cookie. I roll them into little balls and press them into mini silicone muffin cups and press choco chips into the top. Freeze before serving or they will crumble apart when eaten. liralen > > 1 scoop NV > > 1 Tbs. natural peanut butter > > 1 Tbs. maple syrup (or honey) > > 1 Tbs. raisins > > 1/2 Tbs. chocolate chips > > > > Flatten into two cookie sized rounds and freeze on wax paper.
