Hi ,

http://www.wholechildwellness.com/

This is where we go. Dr. Song has biomed DAN and homeopathic training. I like

her because she works with the parents with their comfort level but we did not

like her chelation protocol and challenge test---decided to do the 3 days Cutler

trial instead and she's familiar with it--but doesn't think it necessary. After

what I've read I beg to differ--but anyway, she works with the parents as I

said, not the typical DAN ego. The problem is she does not take new patients but

her colleague Ann Wolf does and she's also very good--she also has a

neurologically injured son.  A DAN however does not know everything, they can

help guide you but your most informative sources are other parents doing biomed

and then you run what you learn by the DAN--read up and be the ultimate one

deciding what works best for your child---the parents have to make informed

decisions and not take DAN's word without researching, asking questions and

fully understanding--this is

uncharted territory and no doctor can know it all--parents know their children

best and are ultimately responsible for their health and well being.

As for developmental Ped that knows apraxia and works with the family to help

provide appropriate treatments and ensure insurance coverage and school services

and placement etc.---good luck!-- I've not found one--what ever you do --do NOT

go to Standford--for anything --EVER.  Good luck!

Does anyone have an excellent developmental Ped/DAN in the SF bay area

that they could recommend? I'm looking for someone who would know about

biomedical intervention; what tests to run and how to treat any unusual

results. I would like to find out if my son could be a responder to

MB12. I would also like to determine if I might be too. Thanks.
