Guest guest
Can anyone confirm for me (sorry if this is redundant- I have been trying to keep up with all the Nutriiveda messages!) that you are seeing improvement specifically with articulation on the Nutriiveda? Thanks a lot! Kim > > Do you know if there are plans to create a dairy free version? Im so intrigued by all of the improvements from Tanner, , and several others. But Im saddened because I cant try it for my son right now, who is completely dairy free. Is there any evidence suggesting that the nutriiveda could help with leaky gut? Which in turn would make it possible for my son to once again have dairy...and gluten for that matter. He doesnt have true dairy allergies, but has been diagnosed with leaky gut syndrome with that wonderful doctor " wait and see " advice for helping it. Anyway, just a thought. Thanks for all of the great information given here! Its been invaluable to us! I got rid long ago of the pediatric office I " used " to use when I was ignorant that told me to wait till Tanner was three for a speech and hearing evaluation because he passed all developmental milestones on time. I have lots of friends that are doctors -some are very respected. My one friend who I won't mention almost burned her house down by leaving her iron on her rug -but she's a brilliant and respected doctor. Anyone can make mistakes and most doctors don't learn about ayurveda or much about nutrition in medical school. Most of the research I'm posting is recent -and those are the doctors we all need to speak with -the ones that ....have a clue. > > It's my experience that the more knowledgeable one is in nutrition and ayurvedic medicine the more impressed they are with the product nutriiveda -including the cost. I've actually have been told it's very reasonable in cost for " what it is " . But then again I'm the type of person that searched online for experts from universities in ayuveda...outside of my medical or nutritional friends and outside of the medical professionals Tanner goes to. > > All I can say is that if you can make the same formula to have the same effects as nutriiveda a product formulated by some of the world's greatest doctors PLEASE do share!!! I mean I've only been doing this -trying to find something, anything to make a difference and improve Tanner a bit more for....EVER!!! The fact that this created surges in Tanner in so many ways was a shock -not expected. But you know what -I can honestly say this is closer to the answer than the fish oils -there's something in this -I just don't know what it is. > > All I can say is that ignorance is not bliss. You don't know what you don't know and that's sad for the child of that person. And again I am so thankful to Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. Simon and all the other medical doctors behind nutriiveda. I don't know how much this would sell for if they wanted to make this a prescription -but know that they have the power and reputation higher than anyone else in alternative medicine. I'm thankful that they took this to an OTC excellent product -but honestly if it was prescription I would scrimp and save (and for that I would have to) to be able to get it for my son- because I know if it was prescription it would be expensive. I had an acne cream years ago that was 110 dollars a month! > > But for those that want to try to get the same results -please do try. My worst nightmare is this product won't be around for some reason and I know there is NOTHING like it out there. The fact you think there is means you don't know what's in it. Again is it the amino acids, the protein, the synergistic blend of ayurveda? Is it one compound or a mixture of compounds? Time will tell but if any of you want to take the time to try to figure it out with your child because you'd rather " save money " please do. My child and the opinion of experts who know about ayurveda and are open minded are what matters to me. 40 bucks a canister for nutriiveda...when it was on back order not only me but my friends too joked around we would have paid 500 bucks for a canister -and I know that we are not the only ones. > > Just wait till all of you read Robin's latest update on and her family. Guest guest
Hi Kim, I can tell you, without a doubt, that we've seen articulation surges. As well as surges in other areas - like fine motor, and overall conversation skills. spent 10 minutes telling me today how he " wants to go to the beach this summer to swim in the ocean, but he doesn't want any sharks to bite him. And he doesn't like winter because summer is way cooler! " Whoa. That's some serious progress. Of course, it's taken a lot of steps (therapy, fish oil, special needs preschool) to get to that point, but it does seem like we've had some BIG, HUGE, ENORMOUS surges since starting the nutriiveda. We are walking on sunshine this weekend - even if it is like, 0 degrees here in Columbus right now. Guest guest
We started my son Theodore (he's almost 3) on Nutriiveda this past Friday. I put 1 scoop in a glass of lactaid milk and was going to to try it myself first for taste, he saw me drinking it, and took it away, and drank most of it! Next day I mixed a scoop into a fruit smoothie and he had 2 small cups of it. So he probably had about a half scoop. I really do feel like his articulation has improved. He started using more sentences (5-6 words). 3 words is the norm, but he has been chattering non stop. Asking a ton of questions and answering our questions very spontaneously. I am trying to use the ABC song as a gauge, he sang it sort of all run together before, now each letter is distinct. Teddy was diagnosed w/apraxia when he turned 2. He's been receiving speech therapy through EI 3 times per week, and we supplement w/1 day of private therapy. He's made huge strides and one of this therapists doesn't think he has or ever had apraxia, just a severe speech delay. His other therapist is still reserving judgement. He's being re evaluated this week for the CPSE program, so we'll get another opinion then. A very good friend who is also a SLP, told me to ignore the diagnosis and take the therapy. We started him on fish oils several months back and I believe that's been a big help as well. I hope I'm not just seeing things I want to see, or that I'm reaching for results here. But I do feel that he's talking more and more clearly. We're going to continue with the nutriiveda. I don't know how it works or why, but anything that seems to help him speak is worth trying. Guest guest
Just wanted to thank you all for your answers. We're on day 2 and so far, so good. EXTREMELY vocal. Just hoping the articulation improves the way I hope it will. If nothing else, he just seems happier on it. He's has a great couple of days.
