Guest guest
Ok...I just tried, I don't like the taste at all.  Please post some ways you drink this stuff? I can't see my kids drinking it. The fish oil is only 1 teaspoon, this is 8oz!  Thanks From: hildy gogal <hildygogal@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Nutriiveda ? Date: Friday, January 29, 2010, 10:44 AM  I just received my order in the mail this morning. I am excited to try it. I plan to use it myself first.  I just wanted to confirm the kids dose: 1 scoop full per 8 0z of water and/or milk  Also, anyone interested in posting ways your kids like to drink the Nutriiveda?  Thanks Switch to: Text-Only, Daily Digest • Unsubscribe • Terms of Use .. Guest guest
Hildy, My son is 4 and I try and get 1 scoop in him a day. 4 heaping teaspoons equals about 1 scoop of Nutriiveda. So far, it's worked best for when I give him just 1 teaspoon of Nutriiveda, with 2 teaspoons of Nesquik and 8 ounces of milk. It tastes really good. We've been doing that 4 times a day. I am happy to say, that I have gradually been cutting back on the Nesquik and adding more Nutriiveda to the drink.  He hasn't noticed a bit! I'm ordering the vanilla this weekend to see if I can sneak it into his applesauce and maybe his fav - vanilla ice cream. So far, the results we've seen have been REALLY positive. More complex speech (he's saying things he's never said before), better focus (conversation skills are especially more focused), and his fine motor skills are amazingly better (coloring, tracing, etc). Large motor has never been a problem for , but even that area has still improved - he scored a goal in soccer the other day...and the best part?  He was able to tell me all about it! Just like the fish oil, it took me awhile to figure out a way to get the Nutriiveda in him, but we seem to be on a good path now. Good luck!  Gretchen ________________________________ From: hildy gogal <hildygogal@...> Sent: Fri, January 29, 2010 10:44:24 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Nutriiveda ? Guest guest
Hi Gretchen,  Thanks for the e-mail.....I will try putting it in the kids ice cream, choc. milk and pudding. I am excited to try it.  On the package it says 2 scoops for kids 4 & up, but you just give 1 scoop? Is that what everyone is giving?  Hildy From: Gretchen Walsh <gretchie9 (DOT) com> Subject: Re: [childrensapraxiane t] Re: Nutriiveda ? @groups. com Date: Friday, January 29, 2010, 4:26 PM  Hildy, My son is 4 and I try and get 1 scoop in him a day. Guest guest
Thank you le for sharing.  I'm guessing you use vanilla flavored? I'm starting to think vanilla might be worth ordering as it leaves more options to make shakes with.  I ordered choc. Hildy From: daniellebwright <danielle@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Nutriiveda ? Date: Friday, January 29, 2010, 11:58 PM  i add 1/2 of a banana, a 1/2 of container of light and fit yogurt, maybe some strawberries, 1 equal (yea I know it's not the best)ice and 8 oz of water. The equal makes all the difference. Maybe try honey, I just don't like the taste of honey. le > > > From: hildy gogal <hildygogal@ ...> > Subject: [childrensapraxiane t] Re: Nutriiveda ? > @groups. com > Date: Friday, January 29, 2010, 10:44 AM > > >  > > > > I just received my order in the mail this morning. Guest guest
Hi Hildy, I do give just one scoop a day because that's what his pediatrician recommended for his age and weight. It would be tough for me to get 2 scoops a day in him because I am just mixing 1 teaspoon of Nutriiveda in with his chocolate milk. So if I wanted him to get 2 scoops a day, he would have to drink 64 ounces of milk. Yikes. I have been sprinkling the chocolate nutriiveda on some of his food though - including cinnamon rolls this morning, and a fluffy top cake for dessert tonight. Both went over well.  I'm not against trying 2 scoops a day, and may consider upping his dosage if I see his progress level off. But so far, so good for us on the one scoop a day. Gretchen  ________________________________ From: hildy gogal <hildygogal@...> Sent: Sat, January 30, 2010 9:06:57 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Re: Nutriiveda ? Guest guest
Thanks Gretchen. I agree with you, if you are seeing progress stick with one scoop.  My son is 7 & weighs 60lbs......are other giving kids this age/weight 2 scoops? My understanding is that that is the recommeded dose for this age group.  Thanks, Hildy From: Gretchen Walsh <gretchie9 (DOT) com> Subject: Re: [childrensapraxiane t] Re: Nutriiveda ? @groups. com Date: Friday, January 29, 2010, 4:26 PM  Hildy, My son is 4 and I try and get 1 scoop in him a day.
