Guest guest
We have been using the Pro EPA and Pro EFA's and my son seems to be responding well. His speech is improving but, we have citrus allergies and I'm concerned about the lemon in the fish oils. Is there an alternative that we can use? I tried Nordic Naturals and they said there is no equivalent alternative without lemon. Thanks,
Guest guest
I have been using Nordic Naturals Omega-3.6.9-D Junior, 2 capsules per day, for my now 12 yrs old for the last two years. They have a lemon taste and are chewable but he swallow them fine. In notice he is more calm with them and help him focus better. http://www.nordicnaturals.com/en/Products/Product_Details/98/?ProdID=1510 Just check it out. Guest guest
The fish oil helps my daughter focus better on what I am saying and thinking her own words through before saying them. From: Idelice A. Guest guest
We use Efalex (made by efemol) and dd takes three capsules per day. She notices the differences (she is almost 9) if she doesn't take it. On them she is much more emotionally balanced with few meltdowns and less of the high-high low-low swings. She is also more dextrous with her fingers and she is able to process multiple instructions better. She also doesn't have the high-pitched voice so much and doesn't gabble away in conversations about nothing, her pain threshold is higher too (non-existent without). Meaningless noises are less when she is on it too. We are just nearing the end of a month without it as she has an assessment next week and I want them to "get" her baseline without the extra help that the Omega oils give her. Hubby and I are counting the days until she can have it again and I may even take them with me for her to have straight afterwards - they make that much difference, but it does take a few days for the full effect to kick in. Dd has learned to soften the capsules a little in her mouth before swallowing them so they go down easier. She also used to take the oil on a spoon as the Efalex contains lemon and thyme oils too so it did not taste fishy. She does prefer the capsules though. a From: aspiemomofez@...
