Most reports on cider vinegar that I have seen say that it is fine for candida,

because of it's ph and extremely low acidity. You may want to stick with

Bragg's or some other organic though, to avoid preservatives.

2 Questions

Hi, I have 2 questions. One is that I have these tiny little like dots all

along the inside of my lip area. Went to the dentist a long time ago and he

didn't know what it was. Does anyone else have this? It worries me, but then I

wonder if it is the candida. Another thing, I just strated taking apple cider

vinegar for some artheritis. Will this be bad for me with candida?

Thanks,

Marie

Yes, this is the mutated form of candida. I've had this for years and

you can forget about getting a diagnosis from a regular doctor. This

is subcutaneous candida, it can form masses and travel by germ terms

to the whole body, it puts out roots and is very difficult to get rid

of. The only thing I know of to fight this and eliminate it is the

immune system. This started and traveled from the gut so this is the

place to start to try and eliminate it. Start taking a good colon

cleanser and keep it up to keep transit time as short as possible. I

take Dr. 's lower bowel formula (FenLB). Alkalize with

lots of green foods. I take powdered Alfalfa, Barley Grass,

Wheatgrass, Horsetail, Slippery Elm, Milk Thistle, Beet, Spinach, Oat

Straw, Kelp, Dandelion, Irish Moss, Ginger, Rose Hips and Bee Pollen.

I also take Brewers Yeast, this is controversial but it seems to help

me.

I would also be consistant with the probiotics and take as many

strains as you can get, don't be afraid to take a lot. I'm taking

iFlora and Microflora Restore. This protocol will take a load off the

immune system and give it a chance to eliminate the subcutaneous

candida. Don't get discouraged, it takes a long time.

This doesn't sound like candida. There are no blisters with candida.

Hi Jeanne,

I'll reply to your email tonite.

If you just want something for you to go to the bathroom then

several doses of the sodium ascorbate form of vitamin C will

certainly do the trick and give you a much needed high dose of

vitamin C and will also be quite safe.

Of course if you actually do have appendicitis you should see your

doc too.

Liver and gallbladder flushes are a bad idea for candida folks. If

you are really in need of a liver/gall flush then getting the cadida

cleared up first will make for a much safer and more effective

flush. Flushing WITH candida will just increase your toxin load.

Jeanne, I sometimes get a pain in my lower left abdomen. I believe it's

caused by an outpocketing of my intestines - the word for that escapes me

at the moment. Normally it only hurts when I'm constipated. As a matter

of fact, it's often the first indication of constipation. I've been told

that this little pocket is a great hiding place for candida.

Thanks for the input.....I seem to only get that when I have constipation too.

It makes sense, as I remember the time I had to go in for a scan they found

nothing and I had just come off of 30 days of Levaquin. So what do you do for

it? Did you get a lot of gas and belching too?

So what do you think the mysterious compenant was? Sugar or some kind of

preservative?

Thanks.

Hi Tammie,

I'm a little late answering. I had metal mouth or mouth rot as I called it.

I used Altoids to keep from going nuts. It also activated the salavary

glands......I had AWFUL dry mouth. I use benadryl frequently. I've never had a

bad reaction to it.

Hope this helps.

Can't help with the Benadryl...I've never taken any Benadryl.

But have a suggestion for metal mouth. In health food stores they sell a Xylitol

gum and mints (see files section for info on xylitol). Starbucks carries a

cinnamin and a peppermint gum that uses xyltol...their other gums do not. The

original Dentyne gum also contains xylitol.

Dry mouth and that metal taste is a common side effect of treatment. Talk to

your dentist about the dry mouth, it can make cavities worse, isn't good for the

health of your gums and teeth, as you need the saliva to fight bacteria. Just

drinking more water won't help with that.

If you are not taking any other medications except the interferon and ribavirin,

there shouldn't be a problem with benadryl. However, the problem comes when

people mix meds that contain other antihistimines (OTC sleep meds, cold meds,

etc), antihistimine prescription meds like Zyrtec or Allegra, or mix with meds

that don't work with antihistimines.

Best thing to do is consult your doc if you are on other medication. Usually

just reading the meds fine print will tell you all you need to know. What other

meds do you take? Have you ever taken Benadryl before?

Yes, the 'metal mouth' is due to treatment. Not much you can really

do - brush your teeth often, mints, etc.

Yes, you can take Benedryl. It is often prescribed by doctors to help

with sleep while on treatment. It is the ingrediant in Tylenol PM

that makes you drowsy. Buy generic and save money! You would have to

check with your doctor on the dose though. I think standard is 25mg,

but I know it is prescribed at higher amounts to help with sleep

during treatment.

Yes I have taken it with no problems. I am on the pegasys, copeg,

neupogen, eupogen, and celebrex. I just took a child's dosage. I just

want to get little sleepy. I get tired, but just cannot sleep.

I am going to have to call my doc tomorrow and ask him for something

for pain. I cannot hardly use my hands anymore.

It was a REAL trick getting the child prove lid off of the

antihistamine LOLOL.

Oh, and just a reminder...I also have rheumatiod arthritis, which is

made worse by the treatments from what I understand :(

It seems to have settled in my knees and hands...but to every cloud

there is a silver lining...it is NOT in my feet. That would be

horrible.

Anyway, thanks for listening.

<><TammieD><>

ps. Only 16 more shots until they test to see if this is working. 2

months down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Have you ever taken Benadryl before?
