Hello Everyone,

I just have to report some more about my amazing son!!! Usually, before we had

him on NV, when he'd wake up, most of the time he would be making loud,

frustrated sounds to try to let me know what he wanted. I'd have to hurry and

exit him from the area so that his rantings wouldn't wake up his little brother.

Although he has dramatically become more quiet and aware that he can communicate

differently since he's been on NV, he was so sweet this morning I have to share!

He walked quietly into our room and I never woke up he was so quiet! The only

way I knew he was up was because he kissed me. So that is how I woke up this

morning! It was so precious.

He is making so many more improvements as well, he is much more verbal and

saying many more different sounds, such as the " bl " sound. He is attempting many

more words as well. He's using MANY more signs! I feel we can communicate with

each other so much easier now. I think he feels the same way because he is MUCH

LESS frustrated and I hear much less of the frustrated hollaring now. I feel we

can go out in public more without fear of him having a fit. I'm feeling much

more confident and comfortable with the idea. In therapy he is totally

cooperative and attentive and does everything he's told to do! His therapist

said he matches the colors and pictures perfectly every time. She said at his

first visit (This past Monday) that he had trouble lifting his tongue up off the

floor of his mouth, but, like I said earlier, he made the " L " sound today, so,

within just a few days, he is starting to do that! He was dancing with Elmo this

morning and going side to side, forward and backward, bending his knees, turning

around, just like Elmo was! He is following body movements so much better now!

Sometimes he'll drink about half of his NV on his own, but, I still have to hold

him and make him finish drinking it, but, it is WELL worth it, just to make sure

he gets his dosage every day. He doesn't always like it, but, it's so important

to do whatever is reasonably necessary to make sure they get it every day! This

stuff is making such a huge difference! It's changed his life forever. I am so

eternally thankful for NV!

If anyone has any questions please feel free to call me! I am available at any

time and LOVE to talk about NV!!! :-)

Sincerely,

Romesa
