Guest guest
the the chromium, molybdenum, iodine, selenium, and manganese yeast are all inactive and as I was told could be taken even by someone who has a candida problem. They are there as a natural way to get the nutrients chromium, molybdenum, iodine, selenium, and manganese. Again -inactive as a yeast. As far as the whey: milk is made up 80 percent of casein and 20 percent whey. The whey is the most easily digestible by the body which is why the doctor's chose this type of protein. The whey isolate protein is the more expensive pure protein and the one recommended by many nutritionists. Nutriiveda contains the pure isolate (not the concentrate) protein -and that's what we want for ourselves and our children in this group in almost all cases. In addition as I've recently pointed out whey isolate protein is used even via prescription to dramatically raise the glutathione which has been shown to help naturally detox the body and found to be important for those with autism (so probably for all with autism like conditions as well but of course if the funding is from autism that wouldn't be mentioned) The nutriiveda is gluten and casein free and is fine for anyone who is lactose intolerant as I've pointed out and one of the parents with a highly casein sensitive child pointed out...however I was told that even though the whey isolate protein is of the highest quality and every method possible was taken to remove 100 percent of the milk protein it is possible that a .09 or something percentage of milk protein may still be in the product which is why I wouldn't recommend it for those that have a true allergy to milk protein which is rare in comparison to the many that are lactose intolerant and need casein free. MSG is a sodium and being that nutriiveda is also sodium free -I doubt it contains MSG -but I can contact the company direct and ask for you. The nutriiveda does contain the naturally occurring glutamic acid which from what I read is from the protein but (from http://www.truthinlabeling.org/hiddensources.html ) " MSG-sensitive people do not react to protein (which contains bound glutamic acid) or any of the minute amounts of free glutamic acid that might be found in unadulterated, unfermented, unprocessed, food. " Every ingredient in the nutriiveda is (I can't remember the exact wording) deemed a food and again is 100% natural. Product label chocolate http://www.up0.net/content/666799/Choco_NutritionFacts.pdf Product label vanilla http://www.up0.net/content/666799/Vanilla_NutritionFacts.pdf Bottom line however as one of the toy inventors I used to work with would say is that the " proof is in the pudding " (and if you put nutriiveda in pudding -then not just an expression but a reality!) And hate to say this but the best way for you to know what is working for our children...stop the nutriiveda and see what happens. I won't do it again but there are now 3 of us that did -Sowmya more than once as well as me -and don't think any of us after seeing the regressions will do it again. You can read about Mel's here in her blog http://littlemermaidmelanie.wordpress.com/about/ But like the fish oils it may be the only way for any of us to really believe this simple powder can make this much a difference in such a few days. I mean who would have thought right??? And -I don't even know you but people are saying how amazing you look right? You didn't lose the weight in your face (if you didn't need to) but where you needed to lose it right? I know -I've seen it so many times now for weight...it's what we are seeing in the children that blows my mind! =====
