Guest guest
My family doc is a doc who practices both traditional western medicine and complementary medicine, specifically the teachings and methodologies of Dr. Weil. I brought him the info on Nutriveda yesterday and asked his opinion. His concern is that he feels Ayurvedic medicine is not a " one size fits all " kind of thing and it really depends on your dosha-type... meaning that some of the ingredients could be contraindicated. I have sent the info to my kids' pediatrician (who works with our family doc) and to their neurologist. In addition, I have just put several books on Ayurvedic medicine on hold at our library. I want to know more before trying the product. I am really interested in the positive things going on with some of our kids... but what works for one, doesn't always work for another. Fish oil (Pro-EFA) has done nothing for my kiddos, but we still take it because it is a good thing! Just didn't provide the speaking results we were hoping for! We have a bunch of diagnostics scheduled this coming week... looking into absorbption issues as a root cause (fecal matter has never formed on either kiddo)
