Guest guest
Our son is also Non verbal. He is 17 and ahs Fragile X. Let me know how it works for your son. P _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of hubby4kids Sent: Monday, February 08, 2010 3:12 PM Subject: [ ] nutriiveda for non-verbal 12 year old I am considering ordering NutriiVeda. Our son is 12 and has no words, no sounds. He has a syndrome (genetic) called Sotos. We have tried many things and, at present, he has private ST everyday M-F for 4 hours. I think we might order Nutriiveda (can't hurt, right?) but since we don't live in the U.S. (we live in Costa Rica) I am not sure we can keep ordering it. In other words we order it to an address in the States and I pick it up when I travel there. Anyone got a suggestion? Thanks -
Guest guest
if you want to talk to me or Robin let me know. Different children and severity levels but both had great success. A few months ago both of our children started on nutriiveda -mine at 13 (7th grade) and Robin's daughter was 25 when she started and essentially nonverbal due to misdiagnosis of her apraxia and TBI -is still 25 and now increasingly verbal and independent in so many areas! Even though both Tanner and Mel started in different places both older children have had amazing surges from where they started and quite honestly in my opinion you have nothing to lose to try this if your son's doctor approves it. So far the changes reported are within days not just with our two -but in the group if you check the archives. Have you read Robin's blog about her daughter Mel? http://littlemermaidmelanie.wordpress.com/about I'm not saying don't wait to hear from someone who may or may not even try it...but please look at it for yourself and check it out with anyone you know that has any type of background in nutrition in medicine. It's very impressive. =====
Guest guest
we'd appreciate it if you order nutriiveda from http://www.pursuitofresearch.org If you are not from the US, Canada or Mexico which is where Zrii currently ships to for us, we are putting up an International page as we'll still only be charging our cost which is 40 dollars per canister but need to figure out the cheapest and best way to ship. Currently using USPS if anyone has any other suggestions let us know. Also just saw you want to speak with me and Robin -please email me at lisa@... and send me your number and best time to call -or I'll email you back our numbers via email. Thanks! =====
Guest guest
Hi , being that I'm in Australia, as you know, I had to order from the speech411.com website. I used the priority option of delivery, and was more than impressed with the speed at which it arrived - 6 days. I consider the shipping costs for 2 cannisters to be quite good. I will happily order from the pursuitofresearh website, once they offer international service, if that is your preference for orders. We have ordered several things from the states in the past (off hand couldn't tell you exactly what service we used, but it wasn't the same that you had on the speech 411 website) - I have found the method of delivery that speech 411 offered to be the most economical, and only took a couple of days longer than other services that we've used in the past, that were quite expensive (for smaller and less heavy items). > > we'd appreciate it if you order nutriiveda from http://www.pursuitofresearch.org If you are not from the US, Canada or Mexico which is where Zrii currently ships to for us, we are putting up an International page as we'll still only be charging our cost which is 40 dollars per canister but need to figure out the cheapest and best way to ship. Guest guest
http://www.pursuitofresearch.org is the website for the Cherab Foundation but yes under Cherab there are a number of us, parents and professionals who are either members or customers. I have personally sent out a sample to one parent that wanted to bring the product with her to a doctor that was testing it and she had ordered it already but we didn't think she'd get it in time. I don't know how that would work if one wanted to see if it was going to work for their child however because we are aware of the importance of the appropriate dosage (and now water intake too BTW!) and it could take a few days to notice changes. Since the subject is for a 12 year old -we were recommending 4 scoops a day but some doctors are bumping that up to 6 scoops for older children -we again are noticing nutriiveda is very dosage dependent. So to provide say a 3 day supply for a 12 year old that would be 4 scoops times 3 so 12 scoops...and there are 30 in one canister. The product ships out from Zrii and comes with a money back guarantee which makes it easy for the nonprofit. I don't mind shipping out a bit here and there as a favor -but if you really want to try it -just go for it!! =====
