Guest guest
Whey isolate protein as found in the nutriiveda raises glutathione levels naturally. Everyone may want to read this link as it also explains the importance of lots of water...and talks about the possibility of a rash if one has lots of toxins! (this is not the same brand of isolate protein -but still interesting!...like this says don't use a blender???) ADVERSE REACTIONS Gastrointestinal bloating and cramps can occur if the product is not sufficiently rehydrated. Transient urticarial-like rash has been seen in rare individuals undergoing severe detoxification reaction. Such rashes were found to abate when product intake is stopped or reduced. http://www.drugs.com/pdr/whey-protein-isolate.html Lots of research on this -can also read http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12537959 or just search Whey isolate protein and glutathione And if it's just the curcumin that interests one -again the nutiiveda also contains the turmeric which contains curcumin in it's ayurvedic blend which was formulated and endorsed in whole by Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. Simon. But in addition to the curcumin and raising the glutathione...nutriiveda also contains all the essential amino acids which have been recently linked in studies to repair neuro damage as I wrote about here in this group and have links to here http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic=13047 & post=52177 & uid=115029735601#post52\ 177 To me if I didn't try nutriiveda yet -please TRY IT!!!! OMG I can't even tell you how amazing this has been. And I get phone calls from some here that will be updating but wanted to give it a few more days...but how strange that so far all feedback is not much to OMG. Is there anyone that has used the recommended dosage for a week and 'hasn't' seen anything? Again it does appear to be dosage dependent. (Wait until you hear the update from the boy that learned how to say " no " after the 2nd day on the full dosage) =====
Guest guest
: In the first whey protein link you provided below, I noticed that in addition to saying don't put it in a blender, it also said don't take with fruit juice. We just started my son on Nutriveda (on day 6 today) and have been successfully mixing it with the Bolthouse fruit juice smoothies. He's just sucking it right down w/o skepticism (b/c believe me, we've tried to hide so many things in his food/drink, he's a professional skeptic when it comes to even a hint of a new flavor in his normal " stuff. " ) I want to give it a few more days before I officially report, but I believe we might have another Nutriveda success story on our hands and I've taken video of before and will do so after too - more to come on that later, though. Anyway, wondering if the no fruit juice warning is applicable to Nutriveda? If so, do you know why, or can we find that out? It's the only way I'm getting it in my little man so far, however I don't want it to eventually cause some adverse reaction. Guest guest
Sharon I know I read that too. Sowmya also uses juice and she too will be updating us with the even more success she's seeing in her son. I have no idea why it has the " no juice " warning on that one site but will check it out tomorrow. You should have seen me tonight when I was making Tanner's shake (in the blender) I typically blend it for a long time to make it super thick and creamy and tonight I just kept starting and stopping the blender so as not to hurt the whey haha -whatever that means! So if the juice is what's working in your child and Sowmya's child's case I'd stick with it. And if it's any indication in our cases -the blender nor the juice clearly didn't seem to hurt anything in the whey ...unless (gasp) it's NOT the whey that is " working " ???? =====

Guest guest
We do mix nutriiveda in mango juice[Langers from Costco]. I also mix it with homemade yogurt[which has the good bacteria] plus some mango pulp. But I make sure there is 8 oz of the liquid. I do use a blender.Too long of using the blender will generate heat, which we shouldn't do[just basic chemistry - heat changes the chemical compositon]. So a quick blending should be ok[ my thoughts....] The link is interesting.... But when you think about it most of our kids are sensitive to - smell, textures. So without using a blender and any other flavor these kids will resist to drink the nutriiveda. " Whey protein " is highly used in weight management/body building. In our kids cases we are not doing either of the above. So I am assuming it shouldn't matter as we all are seeing some amount of good improvements. sowmya > > Sharon I know I read that too.
