medicaid denying s/t 2 xs a week

I have the deeming waiver (medicaid) and they are denying s/t 2xs a week and

will only allow 1 time a week. My daughter goes to special needs pre school and

they are saying the goals with the s/t at school are too similiar. HELLO isn't

t he goal to get my child to communicate. aren't we supposed to all be on the

same page working for the same goal. To make matters worse the s/t at school is

a joke. I have been in the class and have watched the s/t work with other

children. She will point to an object like a book and say whats this book, thats

right book. Are u kidding me. we are already paying for private s/t 2xs a week.

we really need medicaid to pick up the other 2. I am in the process of of

fighting this. I have 30 days to appeal. Does anyone have any suggestions or

wording I can use. She gets s/t 3xs at school but it really doesn't count. They

don't do any drilling, beckman, kaufman,ect. ect. In fact they normaly don't

even pull her out of class and she loses her concentration. HELP. How can I

fight this.
