Guest guest
Not sure if this is because of the Nutriiveda or if it was a stage he was going to get to eventually - but last night when I went to get Matt up for his last potty time - he was soaked. That in itself is not unusual - as I said - getting through the night dry is a work in progress. What was unusual was his reaction. He first didn't want me to get him up and was telling me he was dry. I quickly learned that was completely incorrect. He then flew into a rage - he was so upset that he was wet. THAT was new. As a family, we treat his waking up wet with a very matter of fact attitude. We tell him that it is something he is working on, that we are proud of how well he is doing and that all it means when he wakes up wet is that we have more laundry. And then we quickly change his pjs and sheets. Up to this point, he would tell me he was wet, sigh, and tell me that he was working on it. Then help me change him and his sheets - or curl up in a nest of blankets while I changed his bed. His temper is not new. But being that upset at waking up wet is. Shrug - no idea if it has anything to do with the Nutriiveda (other than the extra liquid probably contributed to his difficulty last night with staying dry!! So happy for the suggestion of adding it to yogurt!). Or if it is his frustration being expressed about this challenge for the first time - which would have happened regardless. LOL - hope to have a more positive update soon!! Lori (Matt's mom)
