We tried them and our son loves them but you have to use around 3 fish to equal

one capsule of ProEFA and they don't have the barage oil in them either, so it

was too expensive for us and just went back to capsules. They are very good

though and our son loves them. If you buy them hide them! Kate

Natural fishies = the dosage in two teaspoons of the oil?

A half a teaspoon of fish oil is equal to about 2 capsules of ProEFA, so a

teaspoon is about 4 capsules of ProEFA and times two would be about 8 capsules

of ProEFA. The Fishies are more of a treat as they are not the same formula as

ProEFA- they are missing the Omega 6/GLA but as Kate says you would need around

3 fishies to equal one capsule of ProEFA....so....if you want to use the Nordic

Fishies instead of the 2 teaspoons of ProEFA -you would need to feed your child

24 fishies a day- so about the entire container (and yes that would be VERY

expensive!!!)

By the way -you'll probably notice more surges on a way lower dosage if you just

increase the ProEPA. This is just another reason I like capsules better as we

do tend to believe more is better -and actually in regards to fish oils formula

is for sure more important in surges than dosage. For every half teaspoon of

oil- just squeeze in one capsule of ProEPA (you can find at

http://www.speech411.com both) and you should notice more surges even if you

decrease the dosage in half...try it and you'll see :)

I believe the fishies are good as a treat- or for ND children to add some extra

essential fats to their growing bodies. IMO too low a dosage for therapeutic

use for most. (but then again with NV it does appear we can lower the fish oils

for apraxia a bit so maybe)
