Published in The Record and Herald News on January 16, 2010 _______________________ On January 14, 2010 Mr. Ray Buesser passed away unexpectedly. His wife, Jeanne, found him on the floor when she returned home. Within 45 minutes she had to go to the bus stop to pick up her children, and Adam, of course they did not know what happened to their father. Ray Buesser was only 49 years old. A little while back Ray and Jeanne lost their 4 year old son Danny to Cancer. Their two remaining sons, and Adam have severe disabilities. Adam, the middle son, has Apraxia (a severe neurological disorder/Speech Disorder plus ADHD and , the youngest child, has Autism. Danny, their oldest son, had died within a week (after exploratory surgery) at 4 years of age. Due to Danny's death, Jeanne also became a librarian and did volunteer work a Bereavement Group called Compassionate Friends for parents who lost their children. Their fight to be sure and Adam's Special Needs are being met has been financially and emotionally draining and extremely hard on the family. Now with the death of Ray, Jeanne, his wife, must go it alone with raising her two disabled boys. With the death of Ray being so unexpected this makes matters worse for the whole family. She lost her husband and the boys lost their father who was one of their major supports concerning their upbringing and financial support. Jeanne Buesser has been on The Rose Show talking about the disabilities of her children to have our listeners know what to look for; what treatment is needed and what services the schools and the government can supply them. She did not want any other parents to go through what she went through in having her children diagnosed and then not having any support or knowledge to know what to do next. She is an amazing woman. We are beseeching you to help this family out monetarily through your financial support to the Adam and Buesser Family Memorial Fund. All checks can be sent to: Adam and Buesser Family Memorial Fund, TD Bank 275 Forest Avenue Paramus, NJ 07652 Account number: 4246893766 Any amount of money that you can send to this Memorial Fund will be greatly appreciated.
